Foamland are stockists/suppliers of a vast array of items essential to the marine/boating, camping, motor-home, domestic, sporting/gymnasium and commercial environments, too great in number to list individually, but including:
- Boating – Marine Carpet, hull liner, buoyancy foam, boat hooding, hatch seal, sound and thermal insulation clear P.V.C. and the manufacture and upholstery of bunks, cushions & seats in any style of covering.
- Camping/Caravan/Motor Home – as per boating products/services, annexe matting, camping mattresses.
- Domestic – Door Mats, Mattresses, Furniture restoration, Bedding Overlays, Theraputic items for the infirmed/disabled, bath mats, wet area/ non slip matting, yoga/pilates matting. chair tips, castor cups, felt pads.
- Sporting/Gymnasium – Gym mats, High jump mats, Pole vault Mats, Pole protectors, Weight room matting, Martial Arts matting.
- Commercial – Anti-fatigue matting, Re-upholstering, Safety matting, Entrance Matting, office partitions, pin/noticeboards.
- Additional – Fabrics including Tonneau, P.V.C., Canvas, Upholstery fabrics and Vinyls Car carpet, Garden Furniture mesh. All the necessary Upholstery supplies for the home handyperson or the Tradesman including eyelets, zipping, tonneau accessories, ‘touch tape’, thread, buckles , webbing , staples, hardware, polyester fibre, chair/lounge legs, no-sag springs, upholstery nails.
- Foams – Filter foam, bedding foam, Memory foam , overlays, packing foam, case inserts, insulating foam, polystyrene, closed cell foam including for roof racks roll cages, boating, crumbed foam , foam cut to size as directed, upholstery foam, pipe lagging.
HISTORY
Foamland was first established in North Hobart in 1987 as a retailer and wholesaler of foam products and upholstery supplies. The business has continually grown and expanded in size and product range culminating in the opening of the Superstore at 204 Murray Street Hobart in 2005.
In July 2007, Foamland assumed ownership of the long established Launceston wholesale/trade supply business known as BROCKS (formerly All Upholstery Supplies). Whilst the continuation of the wholesale side of this business has been of paramount importance, we have also established a more conventional retail outlet in the existing premises so as to allow us to service the entire population of Tasmania more effectively. Conversely, the vast expanse of the Launceston premises allows us to warehouse a far greater range and quantity of stock which in turn allows us to service your requirements more efficiently.
Foamland has today become a vibrant organisation, with a worldwide sales focus, proudly Tasmanian owned and operated.
